FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

CAN I CUSTOMIZE THE SIZE OF MY PRINT?

Yes! The print dimensions listed for sale are some of the most common sizes we sell, but if you have a specific space in mind that requires a unique print size, contact us and we would be happy to help you find the perfect size!

DO YOU HAVE MORE IMAGES THAT ARE NOT ON YOUR WEBSITE?

Yes! Our print store is curated to show only a small percentage of Brian Sager's Fine Art photography. If you have a specific subject/theme in mind, contact us. We would love help you find the perfect print for your space!

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "ARCHIVAL" PAPER AND "STANDARD" PAPER?

Archival Paper ("Hahnemuhle Photo Rag #308") is museum quality, professional, fine art paper. Unmatched in its appearance and feel, the acid-free cotton has the highest level of age resistance. Archival paper has softer overall finish to its appearance, most often being described as looking similar to watercolor paper.

Standard Paper (E-Surface Paper) is Kodak Professional Endura Premier Paper. It is very popular and used by many photographers. Standard paper has an archival value of 100 years in home display. Standard paper has more of a sheen/gloss to its appearance.

WHAT IS A METAL PRINT?

There are various types of metal prints. The particular metal prints we offer at this time are archival paper prints mounted to an aluminum dibond backing. The print is then sealed with a protective UV laminate. Aluminum prints are very sturdy and surprisingly lightweight. They come with mounting hardware attached, so there is no need to add a frame.

IS THE METAL PRINT MATTE OR GLOSSY?

If you order directly through the print store, all metal prints are ordered in a matte finish at this time. If you choose to custom order a piece with us directly, you may specify whether you want a matte or a glossy finish!

DO YOU SIGN YOUR PRINTS?

Yes, all prints are inspected and signed. Please note that this adds about 2-3 business days to your print's lead time.

WHEN I CHOOSE A PRODUCT SIZE, ARE THE DIMENSIONS LISTED REPRESENTATIVE OF THE IMAGE SIZE OR THE PAPER SIZE?

When you select a size for the image you would like to purchase, the size listed is the overall size of the paper or metal. Both standard paper and archival paper prints have a ~1.0" white border surrounding the image to allow room for a signature, so the actual image will be slightly smaller than the dimensions listed. Metal prints are printed as a "full bleed", meaning the image will be borderless.

DO YOU OFFER FRAMING?

If you are interested in framing, please contact us for more details. While we do not currently offer framing, we would be happy to recommend a local framer or work with a local framer on your behalf!

WHAT IS THE GENERAL LEAD TIME TO GET A PRINT?

Standard paper prints: 1-2 weeks

Metal prints: 2-3 weeks
