Summertime Sail Nutcracker
Design inspiration: Inspired by Sager's Classic Yacht Regatta, No. 2842, Clara beautifully brings the photograph to life with calming colors and intricate details. Accent colors: peachy pinks, dusky blues, & silver.
Choose your Customization (pre-orders only): Add in a customization to the nutcracker crown with one of the three monogram options: 143, ACK, COH.
143: the lighthouse's flashing sequence 1*4*3. This flashing sequence is the same numerical count as the words “I love you," so Minot's Ledge Lighthouse is also affectionately referred to as "Lover's Light."
ACK: the airport code for Nantucket's Memorial Airport, also used when generally referring to the island of Nantucket
COH: Abbreviation for Cohasset, MA

About Clara:
For Boston based artist and designer Clara Clough, art was an influential presence in her life from a very young age. Pursuing a career in the arts was the natural path for her. Clara’s parents recognized and supported her passion by engaging her in art programs throughout her childhood. Clara’s grandparents exposed her to the worlds of both visual and performing arts, fueling her curiosity for the value of cultural experiences. Clara's mother is a classically trained painter and child educator, whose qualities and abundant support were preeminent to Clara's creative thinking.
Clara began sharing her art on Instagram in 2017 to develop and sharpen her awareness of what other artists were creating in real time. Through Instagram, Clara discovered the possibilities that exist creatively and in business. Drawing upon those experiences, Clara has launched her career selling artwork nationwide.
Clara is a fine artist and launched her custom nutcrackers for Holiday 2019.

Photo Print on Fine Art Paper:
Printed on industry leading Hahnemühle Photo Rag, one of the world’s most popular and high quality matte fine art papers. The 100% white cotton paper is characterized by a lightly defined felt structure and wonderfully soft feel, which gives each artwork an incredible three-dimensional appearance with spectacular pictorial depth.

This acid- and lignin-free paper meets the highest requirements for age resistance and is specifically designed for fine art and museum level applications.
The print on fine art paper is printed with a white border, includes the image title and the artist’s signature. All fine art prints are unframed.
Photo Print on Aluminum (Metal Print):
Metal prints are clean and contemporary. They can be hung with or without a frame - giving your art a sleek, minimalist presentation that appears to float on the wall.
Photo metal prints are made using a process called dye-sublimation, where a photograph is infused directly onto a specially coated aluminum sheet using heat and pressure. This process makes them highly resistant to scratching, moisture, and fading.
Although metal prints are robust in appearance, aluminum has a low weight, meaning it’s a perfect choice for large-format pieces. These prints offer a contemporary look to any interior, and arrive ready to hang with gallery hanging rails.

Paper prints (Standard Paper and Fine Art Paper) are sold unframed, and thus will need to be framed. Although we do not provide framing at this time, we are more than happy to provide guidance on where and how to frame your prints to best suit your needs. Please contact us here for a framing consultation.
Prints on Metal arrive ready to hang. While prints on metal do not need to be framed, they can be framed if desired. Prints on Metal should be cleaned with a clean, dry, microfiber cloth.
